• Collaborated with vendors and contract manufacturers to manage purchase orders for production parts, including occasional visits to production sites.

• Designed injection mold for prototype parts.

• Created, maintained and edited drawings, part files and assemblies of production parts.

• Refurbished a 32 carrier Steeger braider to enhance functionality and safety by designing and installing plexiglass barrier with access points.

• Designed and built fixture to test friction force and power requirements of two drive concepts with an Instron machine.

• Built reverse engineered mockups of competing insulin pumps with sourced and in-house 3D printed parts.
